I'm Ayan — an integrative counsellor working online with women who are navigating anxiety, self-doubt, and the quiet exhaustion that comes from giving so much to others while gradually losing sight of themselves.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in humanistic, Adlerian and existential frameworks — which means I'm interested in the whole of you. Not just your symptoms, but your story, your patterns, and what you actually want your life to look and feel like. I draw from a range of therapeutic models to create a way of working that is personal, responsive, and built around you.
I work with women from all backgrounds. I understand first-hand the particular weight of navigating identity, family expectation, and belonging across cultural worlds — and the courage it takes to prioritise your own wellbeing when so much pulls you in other directions.
Life experience has shaped me as much as my training. As a mother and someone who has navigated my own complexity, I bring genuine understanding to this work — not just professional technique.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling, awarded jointly by the Metanoia Institute and Middlesex University. I am a registered member of the BACP and NCPS and adhere to their Codes of Ethics and Professional Conduct. I engage in regular CPD and monthly clinical supervision to ensure my practice remains safe, ethical, and current.
I work with a small number of clients at a time — because depth and presence matter more to me than volume.
